Monday Memories in Motion

For some reason when I am at the beach

I have trouble blogging

So here is some catch up...

We have had a blast

The usual...

Sandcastle for breakfast

sleeping in a comfy bed with the fan

yummy dinners

beach

playground

games and playtime 

dad watching westerns

driving in golf carts

eating brownies

riding bikes

on and on

and some new fun times

pumpkin carving

ghost juice (aka meme putting a ghost face on the lemonade jug)

Georgia beating Florida

going to the fish market

it really is the little things....

Here are some pictures form before the beach...and some this week...

Bo set up a desk in his room

He told me he had a lot of work to do

I went back into his room and he had this apple on his desk

I asked him why

He said that all workers have apples on their desks

It is just how it is mom

A few minutes later I went back...

and he had used his pencil to imprint a bit

Just like Bo...

He really has gotten into art 

and school work...

so proud of him

Bo invited us all to his dance party...he had punch and everything...of course Baylen was all about it and copying his EVERY move! He played music and we even had to sign in when we came...Samantha was the bouncer, and she was not exactly thrilled about it....

We went to a fall festival....Bo's favorite thing to do...Baylen had a blast

So when I got back from the UGA Fla game

which ROCKED
Bo was waiting up

and he had left me flowers

and a cup of water if I was thirsty

And he told MeMe the words to a letter for me

Which in the second picture you can read

So sweet

it is stuff like this

that I ever need

to fill me up

it is what gives me all of my fuel each day

it is the little things that the kids to

that make me go go go

He was so proud

I asked him where he got the flowers

he said from neighbors houses

but they did not care

and her sweet chapter book...she was super duper excited!

How many kiddos can you fit on the back of a golf cart....just practicing what our future will look like..cousin Hudson fit right in

Samantha loves being on the beach...she wants to be there just about every minute of the day
They really enjoyed playing on the rocks....

walking up to the huge party on Ga Fla weekend...Baylen was like stop the maddness
he was pumped!

Bo found a funnel and was very curious!

I love craft time at the beach and being able to sit in the evenings and during Baylens nap and draw and play games. Samantha did this completely on her own! Blew me away....so so good...its a keeper!

Wednesday Whatevers

I am tired
But I just have to write
So I won't forget
I don't know if I am just emotional
But I can't get the sweetness of my kids out of my mind
and it makes me tear up
So here goes...
We went to a church carnival down the street
There was the usual...face painting, a dunking booth, cake walk....
Bo was there in his karate attire
He was walking fast and seemed very excited
It is the little things
He played and played at the candy walk until he won
Samantha, Baylen and I moved on to some other things
But I was watching him without him knowing
He would walk around, all by himself, with the sweetest look
He had a pumpkin in one hand, bag or treats in another
He made his way over to the popcorn table and asked politely for a cup
Again, his face melted me
He walked away so happy
so pleased
so I don't know...but whatever it was made me cry
Why am I crying right now...
It was just the sweetest thing...
What is wrong with me...
It made me stop and just eat up the moment
God has truly given me four amazing blessings
I am SO not worthy
I want to stop and make myself always focus on the moment
I know I say it everyday
But we get tired
our list gets long
we have places to be and things to do
I just want moments like this to rain down on me
We moved onto the scary church bus
It was not very scary
but really neat
I sat with Bo
Baylen sat with Samantha
What was sweeter....
Looking at Baylen and Sam cuddle and the face Baylen was making
Which was a mixture of I don't know about this...and I sure do like this
Samantha was being so sweet with him
And Bo wanting me to sit with him
And he was nervous
So it was a fun night to say the least
The thing is
It was so simple
face painting and cotton candy
Pizza and Bo's excitement overs some witches Brew
Can't moments like this just freeze

And just this morning
Baylen and I did one of my most favorite things
Went to story time
I love love love love watching my kids at story time
they truly love it
and it makes my day
It seems just like yesterday when Samantha was doing funny fat frog
I love it
And to watch Baylen knock on random things around the house looking for little mouse

From Samantha being the sweetest kindest little girl I know
to Bo wanting me to draw hearts on his hand every morning at school
to Baylen jumping and singing and talking up a storm
I am so greatful and blessed and love the phase we are in right now
And I tear up
Really tear up
I don't want my kids to ever hurt
to ever be sad
to ever for one second not know that they are number one in my heart
and as I write this
I feel many kicks in my belly
And I want to remember that too
I have had three years of my life with a blessing in my belly
As many of those months are uncomfortable
But for the most part
amazing
truly
I want to always remember the feeling of the movement
and appreciate the miracle that it really is

It all really is
Feeling emotional, blessed and happy all wrapped in one
As I peeked in on three sleeping babies...in my eyes at least
I just love them so....sooo so much....

Monday Memories in Motion

Bo and Baylen went to a birthday party on Friday and had a blast!!!!

It was a football party and Bo came home FIRED UP!

He and Baylen went in the yard and played football until dark

They both played so well together and I stayed in a watched out the window

It was neat to watch them when they did not know I was watching....

Baylen adores his brother

and Bo loves being in charge

when he is not use to being in charge of much!

 Samantha was away on a trip with school

It gave the boys lots of bonding time

which they really enjoyed

Elmo was at the fall festival...Baylen was scared so Bo said he would take a picture so Baylen can look at him....

Picked this sign up at the headquarters...but Baylen took it from me quickly and began campaigning...

He got a lot of comments...all good

Don't you just love that he is supporting Romney and Georgia

and has no idea...

but is just told this is how we roll

It was a great fall day....fall festival...football in the yard....windows open....and football on tv....love me some fall....and love my boys!

Wednesday Whatevers

I can not help but to post today's devotion....knocked my socks off

"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." James 1:12 

There are days when I feel like the stress of being a parent just might push me over the edge. Despite my unfailing love for my sweet children, sometimes the thought of a mini-vacation from parenting sounds mighty enticing. Especially on the days when I am suffering from a severe case of mommy stress.

When children are little, the demands they place on a parent are physically exhausting, to say the least. But as they grow into adolescents, the physical exhaustion is quickly replaced by emotional exhaustion.

Instead of our bodies suffering through sleepless nights, lugging piles of laundry, and the constant smell of messy diapers, our hearts suffer with stressful worries. Worries like whether or not our children will make it home safely, if they're making the right friends, and if they are strong enough to stand up for what's right in the face of peer pressure.

The journey of parenting children, from toddlers to teenagers, is a strenuous one. Each season presents it's own set of stressful challenges. We can easily pour ourselves out completely and end up feeling empty and discouraged. 

 James tells us to keep a proper perspective on the situations which require perseverance. For example, James 1:2-5 confirms that everyone will face trials, and we must keep in mind that our perseverance will result in maturity and completion.

He also says that if we lack wisdom, we should ask God who will generously provide the answers and help needed to get through our most difficult days. I don't know about you, but I need parenting wisdom and guidance on a minute-by-minute basis!

As we persevere through the stress that comes with parenting, we can have hope knowing that God will provide us with strength and wisdom. He will be pleased that we didn't give up. That we kept seeking Him and trusting Him through each and every trial.

Hebrews 10:36, "You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised." 

I have to say

Today has been one of those days that I look around me and see how blessed I am

There are so many seasons of life

We sometimes say we had an awful day

but did we really

did we?

No

My bad day, is many good day, if tat makes since

I feel like nothing is just happen stance

We have those odd things happen

to show us God is RIGHT there with us!

As I pray for those around me that are going through different seasons

I am reminded of how generous others are when i am struggling!

I want to close with something simple...

i love that Baylen is talking up a storm, dancing and jumping

and the funniest things come out of his mouth

I love rocking you at night as you look up at me and ask me "through your passy" to sing Jesus loves me,,,now does it get better then that...for real yall!

I love that Bo does not have a front tooth and that I feel so blessed the he is getting an awesome education at shcool...

Samantha I love that you will always  apologize if you do something wrong...and want a start over

I love that you reallly do have the kindest heart of anyone I know

I love that you want to always help and take charge

and organize your room.....whoop whoop!

Monday Memories In Motion

Can I just say I feel like I am still in Oz
15 hours of Wizard of Oz plays and I feel like I am not in Kansas anymore
Dorthy finally made it home
After many attempts
Have to say Samantha is coming down from a play performace high
She did not know what to do with herself today, thank goodness for soccer practice
She was so amazing, I cried everytime..especially when she first came out on stage and at the end duing bows....
I with remember it always and I know she will too!




I love love love this picture of my Munchkin and her Brother. When he saw her he huged her and said, you did awesome Samantha. I love how Bo calls her Samantha, I think he is the only person that does...she is Zeppa, Pepper and Sam to most
It was also so cute because when he first saw her on stage, he looked away, I can't explain it, his face was like I felt, like he was going to cry...many emotions going through that little sweet boys mind...he was SO proud of his big sister. I love how they love eachother....sometimes you would not know it...but they really really do....
And look that that awesome missing tooth...I love it when my kids are missing a front tooth...love love love that! He pulled it out on Saturday after tae kwon do tournament!


So here is what I witenssed....
Bo got into Kevins Mountain Dew Stash. The other day was his firt taste of the "Dew" when his daddy left a mug of it and he sampled...he came in and asked what that stuff was because he drank it all up and it was the best thing he EVER tasted...and made him burp...and that he wanted more....
so anyway....I went onto the pourch and this is what I found

I came around front

Bo did not seem bothered at all that I saw what he was doing

Baylen on the other hand

holds his cup up and says

Yummy mommy....mmmmmmm

 I could not help but laugh...and let them enjoy their brother moments.....one of many I am sure....
In fifteen years I am sure they will be sampling another beverage...

 So this was the best!
Baylen and I watched toy story together
with Ice Cream Sandwiches,,,,,thanks to grandaddy that brought them by.....
I love it when he does that
He just drops by with simple goodies
so sweet....
So Baylen wanted Buzz and Woody right there with us....

I was SOOOO proud of him
He sat and listened and was so brave, he was very nervous about doing this, so I am so proud of him for giving it his all!

Has kept it on a majority of the last two day!
