Inspirational:Fearless

I have started a new book "Fearless" by Max Lucado
It is truly awesome
Why are we afraid?
"Why are you fearful, O you of little Faith" Matthew 8:26
Each sunrise seems to bring fresh reason for fear.
We are all down to our last something...heartbeat, paycheck, solution, wits end?
We fear so many things....going broke, not being liked, that weird pain, growing old...the list goes on and on
We can not be both happy and fearful
No matter how much we say yes we can
we can't
We can not share a happy heart with a fearful heart
Can you be confindent and afraid....no
Fear never cured a disease or wrote a song
Fear never saved a marriage or a buisness
Faith does that
Fear herds us into a prison and slams the door
WHAT IF FAITH NOT FEAR WAS YOUR DEFAULT REACTION TO EVERYTHING!!!!
Extract all that rejection, failure, insecurity and dread
Jesus asks us
Why are you afraid?
Not all storms come on suddenly
It is important to know that getting on board with Christ means getting soaked with Christ
We will still have rough seas...very rough
It is not the absence of the storms that sets us apart from non believers
It is whom we discover in the storm,,,the untirred Christ
Fear corrodes our confidence in God's goodness
Fear is a sense of loss of control
Fear feels dreadful
it drains us and we want to curl up into a ball
God tells us to Fear not all throughout the Bible
"So don't be afraid, You are worth more then many Sparrows" Matt 10:31
I tell you not to worry about your everyday life Matt 6:25
Don't be afraid, just believe Luke 8:50
Don't let your hearts be troubled John 14:1
why are your hearts filled with doubt Luke 24:38

It is okay to have fear when something is in danger A does of fright can be helpful
Fear itself is not a sin
When we exclude God from the solution is where the problem occurs
We should never fear not mattering. God made us the way we are.
We also need to remember that God forgives us and does not get mad or stay mad
Gods grace does not have a bottom to it
He forgives
and forgives
and forgives some more
Jesus loves us to much to leave us in doubt about His grace
Imperfect love keeps a list of sins
God keeps no list of our wrongs

Again, this book is awesome
It is my new book I am doing for Youth Bible Study this Spring
It was amazing that I was lead to it, right when I needed it most. I feel like a new person. I had been a little, while a lot fearful lately
This has clamed my storm
God is good.....
